This work explores the relationship between nature and artificial objects in the city. The combination of nature and artificial object creates a special aesthetic, for example: tree root cracks road, grass grows through a brick wall, and vine entwined building. This aesthetic is differed from the harmony presented by carefully crafted garden and bonsai. It come from the sharp contrast and the implied violence. This sculpture made of geometric concrete and tree branches tries to present a temporary balanced state between the two powers in conflict hidden in our city.

這件作品試著探討城市之中，自然與人造物的關係。從穿透磚牆的雜草到龜裂道路的樹根，自然與人造物的結合呈現出一種獨特的美感。此種美感不同於盆景與庭園中經過大量修飾所呈現的和諧美感，而是源自兩種相異事物強烈的對比與其中所隱含的暴力。而此雕塑以幾何造型之水泥與樹木相結合，試圖以一種簡單的方式呈現出這隱藏於城市各處由 兩種力量互相衝突所形成的短暫平衡。
