This artwork is a site-specific installation located at Taipei Paper Factory. This old factory was partly abandoned since 1999. Most structures remained until 2019.  The artwork takes place at the only void in this factory connects the first floor to ground floor. Paper is the only material here. Twisted paper strip weaving on the rectangle railing became a huge net. In the centre is a round hole. Paper ropes hang down from this hole until ground floor created a cylinder. This cylindrical shape was inspired by the huge concrete cylindrical sinks in the factory. Besides, the net on the top is inspired by paper fiber. In this artwork, paper ropes gradually turn into paper strips when it reaches the ground floor as a metaphor for paper making.
A total of 1500-meter rope was used in this artwork, about 1000-meter rope for the horizontal weaving, and 500-meter rope hanging down from the center. From the 42 note points (not including corners) in three different high on the railing, all the ropes crossing and interfering with each other, created a denser and irregular net.
This artwork is a response to the space and history of this old factory. And it was demolished when the factory started renovation.
